Positive Affirmations

Affirmations are a powerful tool in encouraging positivity, boosting self-confidence and helps in inculcating new values into your mind. They are statements repeated over and over by saying it out loud, hearing or writing down. This eventually gets manifested in our mind and leads to belief, which in due course helps in changing our thinking pattern and could be a life changer. Affirmations are a source of motivation, they help you feel energetic and stay focused on your goals. This just proves that what you tell yourself and how you treat yourself is very important, because your brain ultimately believes it. Just like we do repetitive physical exercise to get stronger, affirmations can be thought of as exercise for our mind/brain. There's a large body of evidence that suggests that positive affirmations encourage brain plasticity (the brain's ability to change as a result of experience).

I know this for a fact because I’ve tried it out myself at a point when I hit rock bottom. I picked up a few phrases that felt right in battling my demons and repeated them on a daily basis. After a while, my confidence level and love for myself had grown to such a level that, I didn’t want to settle for anything less than I deserve.

So here, I’m sharing a couple of positive affirmation posters that I've created and have helped me on my journey of growth. You can download, print them, and put them up where you’d see em’ every day. This way, you’ll start your day and end it on a positive note!
